Candidate FAQ
• What kinds of roles does técrave hire for?
técrave hires across technical, creative, managerial, operational and support roles. We also fill positions for partner companies through our IT-sourcing services.
• What qualities does técrave look for in candidates?
We value clear communication, calm thinking, strong ownership and the ability to work respectfully across different teams and time zones.
• How many interview rounds should I expect?
Most roles have 3–4 rounds, depending on the position and whether partner companies are involved.
• What happens in the first interview?
The first round is a Talent Acquisition conversation. You'll understand the full interview plan, expected timelines, correct contacts, and initial pay range.
• Do I need to prepare technically for the first round?
No. The first round is mainly about understanding the role, expectations and your background.
• How should I communicate during the hiring process?
Use clear, complete messages. We're not strict about message length — just keep it understandable and direct.
• What platform are interviews conducted on?
Most interviews take place on Google Meet. If another platform is used, we’ll share the correct link ahead of time.
• How do interviews work for IT-sourcing roles?
A técrave moderator may join the interview to support communication and ensure a smooth interaction with the partner company.
• Will I have to complete a task or assignment?
Some roles include a small task to understand how you think and approach work. Tasks are short, focused and aligned with the role.
• What should I expect in technical or creative rounds?
Technical roles may involve architecture discussions or walkthroughs of past work.
Creative roles may involve portfolio conversations, visual choices or design thinking.
Managerial roles may focus on leadership, decision-making and communication style.
• How long does each interview last?
Interviews usually last 20–45 minutes, depending on the round.
• Can I ask questions during interviews?
Absolutely. Interviewing is a two-way process, and your questions help both sides stay aligned.
• What if I need to reschedule an interview?
Just inform your recruitment coordinator as early as possible. We understand time zones and schedule changes.
• How are hiring decisions made?
We collect detailed feedback from every interviewer involved. The final decision reflects the complete evaluation — not one moment, one answer or one round.
• What kind of feedback do interviewers provide?
Feedback covers clarity, communication style, reasoning, alignment with the role and overall collaboration potential.
• Can one interview influence the final decision?
Yes. A particularly strong or concerning round can influence the outcome, especially if it relates directly to the core responsibilities of the role.
• How long does it take to receive a final decision?
Most candidates receive a decision within 3–5 business days after the final interview.
• Do partner companies influence decisions for IT-sourcing roles?
Yes. Partner companies may join the final interview or contribute final feedback.
• Will I receive feedback if I’m not selected?
Whenever possible, we share short and meaningful insights about the decision.
• How should I follow up after interviews?
A short, polite message is enough. Your recruitment coordinator manages updates, next steps and timelines.
• What is the STAR format, and should I use it in interviews?
The STAR format (Situation, Task, Action, Result) is a helpful structure for explaining past work or challenges. It keeps your story clear and makes it easier for interviewers to understand your contribution. It’s optional — use it if it helps you express your thoughts.
• Should I try to answer in the STAR format whenever possible?
You don’t have to use STAR for every question, but it works well for most experience-based or “tell me about a time” questions. If a question asks for an example, STAR can help you stay organized, confident and focused on what you actually did.
