As a software engineer intern, you will work alongside our lead developer on both backend and frontend development tasks. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Django and JavaScript while contributing to a real-world project.

What you'll do at técrave
- Collaborate with developers to assist in the development of web applications
- Support the implementation of backend logic using Django
- Develop frontend features using Django templating engine, jQuery, and Tailwind CSS
- Assist in integrating third-party services and APIs
- Contribute to ensuring applications are responsive and user-friendly
- Write clean and maintainable code with guidance from mentors
- Participate in code reviews, and testing
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Good understanding of Python, Django and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS for responsive design
- Understanding of version control systems
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
While not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
- Experience with Django or similar frameworks from coursework or projects
- Familiarity with Docker for containerization
- Knowledge of security best practices for web applications is a plus
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus
